In order to fully respond to all inquiries prospective applicants have about the process of adoption, Theresa offers a free 30-minute phone consultation and a 2-hour in-office consultation.
SAFE Homestudy
The SAFE Homestudy is to assess the family’s eligibility and suitability to adopt and to become AdoptReady for a private domestic, intercountry or child welfare (public) adoption.

Biological Parents
Services to biological parents will involve counselling to assist you in deciding what you want for your child and obtain information about your options and rights including making an adoption plan for your child.

Meet Theresa Mills
Private Adoption Practitioner with 30+ Years Experience
Theresa has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Ryerson University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto. Theresa is a Member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and is a Private Adoption Practitioner, approved by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
